Armex blasting is similar to plastic blasting, except that the media used is formulated baking soda, as opposed to a granular thermoset plastic. It is completely nontoxic, and a softer media than plastic bead, which makes it ideal for use in the food service industry and for delicate graphite composites. Due to its ability to balance pH, it can strip away corrosion on soft metals without removing healthy substratum.
